Template License Agreement

This Template License Agreement ("License") governs your use of the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and associated assets ("Generated Files") produced by the AiBuildPro platform. This License is separate from — and in addition to — the Terms of Service, which govern use of the platform itself.

  • Use Generated Files for unlimited client websites
  • Charge clients for the website you build
  • Modify the Generated Files as needed
  • Host Generated Files on any web server or CDN
  • Include Generated Files in client deliverables
  • Use Generated Files for personal projects

❌ You CANNOT

  • Resell Generated Files as standalone templates on marketplaces
  • Claim authorship of the underlying template design
  • Sub-license the template to other agencies as a template product
  • Remove attribution from the AiBuildPro generator meta tag
  • Use Generated Files for illegal or harmful purposes
  • Reverse-engineer the AiBuildPro generation engine

1. Grant of license

Subject to the terms of this License and an active AiBuildPro subscription (or a completed free trial), AiBuildPro grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the Generated Files for the purposes described below.

2. Permitted uses

Client websites: You may build and deliver an unlimited number of client websites using Generated Files. You may charge your clients for this work. The client receives use of the website but does not receive a separate template license — they may not redistribute the Generated Files as a template.

Modifications: You may freely modify the Generated Files — changing colours, copy, images, layout, and functionality — as needed to meet your client's requirements.

Hosting: You may host the Generated Files on any server, CDN, or hosting provider of your choice, including the client's own hosting account.

Personal projects: You may use Generated Files for your own personal or business website.

3. Restrictions

No template resale: You may not sell, sublicense, or distribute the Generated Files (or substantially similar derivatives) as a template product on marketplaces such as ThemeForest, Creative Market, or similar platforms. The license covers use for end-client websites only, not creation of competing template products.

No platform cloning: You may not use the Generated Files to reverse-engineer or replicate the AiBuildPro generation engine or create a competing website builder.

No illegal use: Generated Files must not be used to build websites that host illegal content, promote hate speech, run fraudulent schemes, or otherwise violate applicable law.

Attribution: Generated Files include a meta generator tag (<meta name="generator" content="AiBuildPro">) in the HTML. You must not remove this tag. It is hidden from site visitors and does not affect SEO.

4. Ownership

AiBuildPro retains ownership of the template designs, code patterns, and generation engine. The license granted here is a use license only — it does not transfer ownership of the underlying templates.

Content you supply (business name, copy, images, product data) remains your property. You warrant that you have the right to use any content you provide.

5. License validity

This License is valid for as long as you maintain an active AiBuildPro subscription. If your subscription lapses, websites already delivered to clients under this License continue to be covered — the license does not retroactively revoke rights for already-built sites.

New website generation requires an active subscription.

6. Warranty disclaimer

Generated Files are provided "as is". AiBuildPro makes no warranties regarding fitness for a particular purpose, SEO performance, accessibility compliance, or browser compatibility beyond what is tested at the time of generation.
